Editor of GrowerTalks, Green Profit magazine and the Acres Online e-newsletter, Chris has been in horticulture for over 30 years. He owned his own greenhouse - Indian River Ornamentals - in Merritt Island, Florida, after he graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in horticulture. He also had a minor in Journalism, so after he and his wife Laurie sold the greenhouse business, he started writing full-time, first for local publications in Florida and then moving to the Chicago area when he began writing for GrowerTalks. He's been with Ball Publishing for 25 years now and only thinks about retirement once in a while.
