Strategic Partnership Brings Integrated Climate Systems to Growers

Ilyin Costello
Mestek, Inc. has partnered with BioTherm to deliver advanced and energy-efficient climate solutions for greenhouses and controlled agricultural environments. The partnership, which was announced in October, aims to streamline greenhouse heating, irrigation tempering, CO2 enrichment and air conditioning support for indoor farms and controlled environmental agriculture (CEA) operations. And it addresses one of growers’ largest operational costs: energy consumption. The collaboration seeks to integrate high-performance systems under one roof and promises operational efficiency and sustainability.
Key technology components include:
  • BioTherm’s packaged hydronic heating systems
  • RBI high-efficiency boilers and water heaters for heating and dehumidification support
  • Sterling HVAC’s Agricultural Series unit heaters, which are designed for durability, corrosion resistance and performance in demanding environments
“We are thrilled to be a part of this exciting partnership to provide best-in-class technology for the greenhouse growing industry,” said Chuck Perry, VP of Sales & Marketing at Sterling HVAC. “Our advanced technology is built to withstand the harshest conditions while delivering reliable, efficient heat.”

“Working with Mestek’s family of brands means growers can source everything they need for efficient greenhouse heating under one roof,” said Jim Rearden, president of BioTherm. “By combining high-performance boilers and unit heaters, growers can source everything they need for efficient greenhouse heating in one place.” GT
