Schaefer’s Greenhouses in Illinois Sells

A third business sale, this time of 99-year-old retail/grower/florist Schaefer Greenhouses, Inc. of Montgomery, Illinois. They’ve been trying to sell for several years, but it’s a unique property, with production and retail greenhouses dating from the ’40s right up to the 2000s.

The buyer is AEC Supply, Inc. of Minooka, Illinois, a 100% woman-owned company providing landscaping, erosion control and agricultural products. President Donna Kuda said the Schaefer family has built a solid reputation in the community over the last 99 years and AEC is proud to carry on their tradition of providing quality products with exceptional customer service.
