In Memoriam: Ivan Izzo

Condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of Ivan Izzo, Vice President of CEA & Hydroponics for BFG Supply, who passed away unexpectedly during a flight to the Netherlands where he was headed to attend GreenTech Amsterdam. He was just 47.

Before his current position with BFG, Ivan spent 14 years with Linder’s Greenhouses in Minneapolis, including as general manager of operations.

Said Dave Daily, President & CEO of BFG, “Ivan was a force in our industry and a key member of the BFG team. He will be missed very much and we’re thankful to have known and worked with Ivan for the past 10 years.”

Ivan, who grew up in Brazil, is survived by his parents, Valdecir and Leonilce Izzo, his wife, Carita, and two sons, Enzo and Vinicius (Vinny).
