Ron Shepard has joined the inside sales team at BioWorks with a primary responsibility to increase revenue by contacting new and existing customers and introducing them to the BioWorks line of products.

Matthew Krause Ph.D. has also joined BioWorks in the Product Development area as the new product development specialist. His role will be to develop emerging technologies into new products, implement commercialization efforts to support the launching of new products and maintain existing products in the market. For the past nine years Matthew has resided in Belgium (Antwerp Province) and worked as a senior plant pathologist. He has also worked as an associate research leader in the Microbial Process Ecology and Management Program at the KU Leuven University College De Nayer Institute.

Ludvig Svensson, Inc. 
Svensson has appointed Mauricio Manotas as its new Key Accounts Manager—Americas to strengthen coverage in North and Latin America. Now based in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada, Mauricio will cover key accounts in the North American territory west of the Rockies as well as continuing to serve his existing customer base. Since joining Svensson in 2004, he has served territories in Canada and Latin America and most recently was based in Bogota, Colombia, serving customers in Latin America, Mexico and Colombia. GT
