Ball Acquires Daniels

Ball Horticultural Company announced the acquisition of the assets and manufacturing facilities of DP Foods LLC and the rights to market the Daniels brand of plant nutrition. DP Foods manufactures Daniels products, sustainable, organic and cost-effective plant food products for the professional grower, landscaper and home gardener.

Ball will operate DP Foods from the company’s current headquarters and manufacturing plant in Sherman, Texas, and will retain all its present employees. Ball will also continue to support existing agreements and commitments to the brand’s distributors in the United States and Canada.

Daniels products are organically based and contain organic/nutritional compounds, including natural vitamins, minerals, amino acids and proteins, enzymes, phytohormones and carbohydrates to enrich plant health and fertility. Daniels products include: Daniels 10-4-3 Professional Plant Food; Daniels Ornamental Landscape 10-4-4; Daniels Pinnacle 3-1-1 Organic Professional Greenhouse Nursery Plant Food; and Daniels Plant Food Retail Product Line.
