Ball Seed
Maria Luitjohan has joined Ball Seed’s sales team as an Account Development Representative, bringing with her a prior knowledge of Ball’s systems, culture, supply network and a working knowledge of the cut flower division from when she was a summer intern in 2005 and then a Regional Supply Manager from 2007 to 2012. During the last 12 years, she worked in customer service for Hort Americas. Maria will be working closely with the ColorLink Sales Team and Ball Seed customers in the Northeast Region.
BioWorks
BioWorks announced the appointment of Erika Rohr as Regulatory Manager. In this role, Erika will be responsible for overseeing the company’s regulatory compliance and strategy, ensuring BioWorks’ products meet the highest standards for safety and efficacy, while reducing the time it takes to get new grower solutions approved for market introduction.
She will manage and execute product registrations, label expansions and compliance with state and federal agencies. She will also play a key role in ensuring BioWorks’ biopesticides meet the stringent safety standards required for approval by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Canada’s Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) and other regulatory bodies.
With over 15 years of regulatory expertise, Erika has previously held positions at leading agriculture and pharmaceutical companies. Most recently, she served as Regulatory Manager at Pro Farm, where she was responsible for managing registration and compliance of the company’s biological products across North America.
Stuppy Greenhouse
Stuppy announced the hiring of Brooke Wine as Regional Sales Manager for the Great Lakes Region, serving Michigan, Indiana, Ohio and Pennsylvania. Brooke has extensive experience in business development and management, while also bringing a passion for pest control to Stuppy. Brooke holds a degree in Entomology, which gives her a unique perspective on plant health and how to manage pests that threaten plants.
