In Memoriam: Jennifer Youngquest

Jennifer Jean Youngquest, long-time marketer for Detroit-based retailer English Gardens, passed away September 24 after a two-year battle with cancer at the too-young age of 60. Sharing the sad news was her long-time friend and colleague Matt Kurseth, a sales rep for McHutchison and former English Gardens staffer.

Jennifer had been with English Gardens since 1992 and rose to vice president of marketing. Her husband of 16 years, Darrell, is the nursery buyer there. She was educated in both agriculture and communications (in her case at Michigan State), and she and her spouse were both deeply involved in the industry. GT
