BFG Expands

BFG Supply wants to make it easier for you to buy your necessary greenhouse and garden center supplies from them (or at least companies owned by them), which is why they’re expanding from the Midwest into the Mountain West, Southwest and West Coast regions with two (fairly) recent acquisitions.

In December, BFG acquired Gard’N-Wise Distributors, a specialty distributor of lawn, garden, greenhouse and landscape products. They’ve been serving garden centers, retail, and commercial nurseries and greenhouses for over 50 years, and have locations in Denver, Kansas City, Salt Lake City, Lubbock and Wichita.

More recently, in March, BFG acquired L&L Nursery Supply, headquartered in San Bernardino, California. Founded in 1953, the company ships to customers across the Western U.S. with warehouses in San Bernardino and Fife, Washington.

With the two deals, BFG now operates 14 warehouses across the U.S. totaling more than 1 million square feet. GT
