AmericanHort to Manage ONLA

Chris Beytes
In other AmericanHort news, the association has announced that they’ll be providing management services to the Ohio Nursery Landscape Association (ONLA). AmericanHort President and CEO Ken Fisher will serve as Executive Director. He’ll help ONLA set organizational priorities and resources and help with resource optimization, staff coaching and development, and accomplishment of overall association goals.

AmericanHort says they have nearly a decade of experience providing management services to other national and state associations, such as the Nursery and Landscape Association Executives (NLAE) of North America.

“The success of state-based organizations is critical to the overall health of the industry,” Ken said in a statement. “I’m looking forward to working with the ONLA staff and volunteer leadership to grow and improve the organization in ways that will allow ONLA to better serve and support their members.”

ONLA has 1,300-plus members, including nursery stock growers, garden center operators, landscape contractors, landscape design and grounds maintenance firms, arborists, students enrolled in landscape and horticulture programs in the state, and allied suppliers. The association has represented since 1908. GT
