Caladium Creamsickle is a 2013 white and burnt orange fancy-leaved introduction from Bob Hartman’s Classic Caladiums, LLC breeding program. It creates a new look in caladiums with a burnt orange leaf pattern and contrasting white center and veins. De-eye to intensify color and improve habit. Creamsickle is suitable for pots 4 in. and larger, it grows fast with a very short pot crop time, it’s excellent for landscaping and it’s sun tolerant. For more information, contact

Dramm Corporation
Dramm has partnered with CleanGrow to offer its ion sensors to the horticultural market. Designed to measure the specific amounts of up to six different elements in a solution, the CleanGrow Multi-ion Meter Kits can report exactly what nutrients are in your water. Each meter can be purchased with up to six individual element sensors. Choose from calcium, chloride, potassium, sodium, ammonium and nitrate ions. The meter also records the temperature of the solution. Each Multi-ion kit comes with: a multi-ion probe (choose from a 2-ion to a 6-ion probe), CG001 Multi-ion meter, quick start guide, USB cable, carrying case, PC software to manage your data, condition solution and de-ionized water for rinsing.
Mitchell Ellis Products
The EZ Potter from Ellis is the first on the market (patent pending) that doesn’t require mechanical linkage. What makes it different from others on the market is the EZ Potter has a conveyor belt instead of a pot track, so it saves on set-up time and maintenance. A sensor detects the pot size—from 1 to 7 gal.—and activates the drill. The drill can be centered and the depth can be adjusted with the push of a button instead of using a wrench. Also, most potting machines use a scraper that adjusts above the pot after filling. The EZ Potter uses a rotary sweep that adjusts to the grower’s needs. It’s quiet and low maintenance; even those not as mechanically inclined can operate it.
Sun Gro Horticulture
Sunshine Mix #4 with mycorrhizae is now available. Seven endomycorrhizae species are infused in the new mix, meaning a wider variety of plants can benefit from the presence of the mycorrhizae. The started nutrient charge is modified to a lower phosphorous level to facilitate the early mycorrhizal establishment in plants grown in the mix. Increased horticultural-grade perlite was also added making this mix a great choice for the wide variety of plants that require improved root zone aeration.

Purple with Face (pictured) is the sixth color available in the new WonderFall trailing pansy series. Since its release in April, the WonderFall series has been recognized for its vigorous branching and large, high-quality flowers. With its spreading habit, WonderFall overflows containers and hanging baskets for maximum color coverage. Beautiful in garden beds as well, WonderFall is a fresh addition to any landscape.
