Dow Introduces New Herbicide

Dow AgroSciences’ newest product is Snapshot DG, a specialty herbicide available for use in ornamental landscape beds and on field- and container-grown nursery ornamentals. The DG formulation features a dispersible granule, which quickly disperses to deliver the active ingredient into the soil profile to control tough weeds.

Available in 25-lb. bags, the DG formulation, utilizing The Andersons, Inc. patented DGlite formulation, offers great flowability and easy spreading. Each granule is made up of thousands of subparticles that break apart with as little as 0.2 in. of moisture.

Snapshot is a selective, pre-emergent herbicide that is effective on more than 125 broadleaf and grassy weeds. It demonstrates exceptional plant tolerance and can be used over the top of more than 600 labeled ornamentals. Depending on factors such as weeds controlled and application rate, Snapshot provides up to eight months of control, saving landscape and nursery professionals thousands of dollars in hand-weeding labor costs.
