The tray features label ramps at each end, tapered cone cell design, with fluted sidewalls for strength and to act as an air conduit to the root zone. The new tray is #6 RPS and may be recycled.
Bloomz
New Hot Cherry calla lily from Bloomz features a purple-red color that is bold and consistent on a classic flower shape. This variety is early to flower and has maculated, dark-green foliage. Depending how it’s used, Hot Cherry can grow up to 23 in. (60 cm) tall with more than six flowers on the plant. Excellent as a pot plant, a cut flower or even in the landscape.

Spectrum Technologies’ new WaterScout Soil Moisture/EC/Temperature Sensor has earned an AE50 Award from the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers. The Spectrum SMEC 300 Sensor measures three key soil properties, moisture, EC and temperature, with little or no disturbance to the root zone. The carbon ink EC electrodes provide a large conductive surface area. The EC sensor can be calibrated with a simple, one-step process. Use the available hand-held reader to take fast and accurate spot readings. Or bury the sensor and track soil moisture changes over time with a WatchDog data-logging weather station.
