In Memoriam: Andrew Blodgett

Andy Blodgett, formerly with Sakata Seeds, Colegrave and Waller Genetics, passed away unexpectedly in San Luis Obispo, California on Sunday, August 8. He was 52.

Remembered fondly by industry friends as a kind and family-focused man, he gave tirelessly to industry organizations, including Fleuroselect and AAS. He was president of Waller Genetics, a flower-seed company in Guadalupe, California, beginning in 1994 and was a co-founder and current board member of Founders Community Bank.
Andy is survived by his wife, Linda; two children, Michael and Makenzie; parents; three brothers and two sisters. Contributions to the American Diabetes Association can be made in Andy’s memory.
