Bailey Nurseries Acquires Bork Nursery

Bailey Nurseries, St. Paul, Minnesota, has acquired Bork Nursery located in Onarga, Illinois. With 377 acres, the Bork Nursery will help Bailey’s better serve its customers with a broader plant offering and quicker shipping to key markets.

“With the ever-increasing pressures of business today, we are doubling our effort to better meet our customers’ needs for the future,” says Terri McEnaney, president of Bailey Nurseries. “We are excited about the opportunities this new growing facility will bring to our customers. By decreasing the distance to market, we will be able to improve just-in-time service and selection.” This new location will also enable Bailey Nurseries to extend its shipping season and increase the variety available to its customers.

The location will be renamed the Bailey Illinois Division, headed by Nursery Manager Duane Huss, formerly the container product manager for Bailey at their Minnesota facility
