BASF Launches Online Training Modules

BASF Turf & Ornamentals has launched an interactive training module for its FreeHand 1.75G herbicide and Pageant fungicide. Both web-based modules are available at www.betterplants.com.

Module users can select either the FreeHand 1.75G or Pageant training program, where they will be led through the module by technical specialists Kathie Kalmowitz and Todd Burkdoll. The module concludes with a quiz that tests the user’s retention of the covered materials.

FreeHand 1.75G is a preemergence herbicide that combines a granular formulation of dimethenamid-P with pendimethalin. Pageant fungicide combines the active ingredient boscalid, newly registered for ornamentals, with pyraclostrobin, the active ingredient in its Insignia fungicide.
