Jiffy Group’s New Lab

The Jiffy Group recently announced its new Innovation Center at its flagship production facility in Zwijndrecht, the Netherlands, featuring a university-standard laboratory and custom-built climate chamber. The goal is to be able to meet the needs of growers through research and development.

The company Light4Food designed and built the climate chamber for Jiffy, which includes:

• Priva software to monitor the growing environment, collect data, and store and execute growing recipes

• Multiple sections to test different products for the cultivation of leafy greens, herbs, ornamentals and more

• Philips GreenPower LED production modules with a GrowWise control system that's adjustable per section

• Dripper, ebb & flow, gutter and pond fertigation systems
