Horticulturist Named OK Farm Bureau President

Chris Beytes

Oklahoma County horticulturalist Rodd Moesel was elected president of Oklahoma Farm Bureau by voting delegates at the organization’s annual meeting November 11 in Norman, Oklahoma.

That’s pretty special because Rodd isn’t a cattle rancher or corn farmer; he owns and operates—along with his wife, Dona—American Plant Products and Services, a distributor of plants and supplies to the greenhouse industry. Rodd is the grandson of dairy farmers and lifelong Farm Bureau members, and grew up on a vegetable farm and greenhouse operation. Rodd also happens to be a member of Seed Your Future’s National Leadership Council. Congrats, Rodd! GT
