Vicky Rupley of Harris Seeds recently had the honor of being recognized for her work in the industry by All-America Selections. Vicky received the Medallion of Honor at AAS’s Summer Summit held in Rochester, New York. The prestigious Medallion isn’t given to just anyone—it’s presented to someone who's had a lifelong dedication to the advancement of horticulture.

And what has Vicky done to deserve such an honor? Degrees from University of Rhode Island and UC-Davis, lecturing and teaching about vegetable crops, working at Harris Moran, Ball Seed, Sluis & Groot and finally settling in at Harris Seeds where today she’s Executive Vice President. That’s in addition to all the volunteer work she’s done for the National Garden Bureau, the AAS Council of Judges and Board of Directors. GT
