DÜMMEN ORANGE
Dümmen Orange has hired a new Regional Director for Supply Chain in the Americas. Allen Olson, previously Head of Supply Chain and Operations in North and Latin America for Syngenta, is joining the Dümmen Orange North America team. Allen will be assuming the Regional Director role for the Dümmen Orange Supply Chain in the Americas.

PANAMERICAN SEED/KIEFT SEED
Felicia Vandervelde has been hired in the role of Regional Account Manager, Canada for PanAmerican Seed/Kieft Seed. As Regional Account Manager, Felicia will support all distributor customers with the sale and use of PanAmerican Seed products across Canada, and will be instrumental in developing plans and strategies for sales growth in the region, with input into forecast and budget. Felicia will also help lead the sales team with plans for sales growth in the company’s focus on potted plants. Previously, Felicia was North American Sales Manager for Florist Holland B.V. 

SUNTORY FLOWERS
Suntory Flowers has named Taizo Chinju president, effective April 1. Taizo has spent nearly half his career with Suntory Holdings in the Suntory Flowers division, starting in 2004. In 2013, he became Managing Director of International Business, spanning both the bedding plant and cut flower businesses globally, as well as corporate strategy.

VINELAND RESEARCH AND INNOVATION CENTRE
Vineland Research and Innovation Centre announced that its Board of Directors has appointed Dr. Ian Potter as Chief Executive Officer effective as of April 1, 2019. Dr. Potter is also now a member of the Vineland Board of Directors. Vineland is an independent, not-for-profit organization funded in part by the Canadian Agricultural Partnership, a federal-provincial-territorial initiative. Its goal is to enhance Canadian growers’ commercial success through results-oriented innovation. GT
