In Memoriam: Tom Hermes

Thomas J. Hermes of Clear Lake, Minnesota, died January 5 at his home with his family by his side. He was 75.  

Tom owned and operated with his brothers Hermes Floral Company in St. Paul and Becker, Minnesota, until he retired in 1998. The business was started by his grandfather in 1906. They ran 8 acres of greenhouse production producing potted plants and cut flowers. Tom enjoyed hunting, fishing and the company of family and good friends. According to his family, he was also very artistic and enjoyed spending time taking pictures. GT
